Prof. Dr. Arjen F. Nikkels obtained his MD degree in 1990 at the University of Liège, Belgium. He obtained his PhD degree on varicella zoster virus diagnostic methods in 1997. Since 2008, he is a full professor of dermatology and head of department at the CHU of Liège, Belgium.
